Let us begin our journey by looking at how we record the messages of the universe within our bodies.
Human beings are made up of 70 percent water, and the ratio of solid matter to water within them is the same as the ratio of land to ocean on planet Earth.
Water is life, and without it no creature or plant could survive. It is the cradle that holds the universal messages in and around every living cell of every living thing on Earth. We are going to see that if this vital fluid component of our body becomes contracted, our ability to hold the positive energies of our universe becomes contracted, too.
Water – The Liquid Crystal from Above to Below
We refer to water as “the liquid crystal from above to below.” This means that it holds universal wisdom and transports it from the macrocosm to the microcosm, right into the cell. It is so fundamental to life that our body has a built-in protective process that it takes on as soon as it feels dehydrated. Contrary to what we might have been told, the body never works against us. It always does the very best it can for us given the circumstances we present it with.
People living in arid countries also have ways to maintain hydration within their culture. For example, in Morocco the women working in the fields don’t take a lot of water with them; instead, they take freshly pressed argon oil. We see how certain cultures have retained the knowledge that a very important ingredient for maintaining hydration is oil containing essential fatty acids.
What Causes Dehydration
So, what causes us to become dehydrated in the first place? Our first principle, indeed the founding principle of cellular awakening, is that any kind of stress is registered on the water component of the body as dehydration. Furthermore, as soon as the body is dehydrated, it is expressed as stress. So external stress causes cellular dehydration, which then causes internal stress. This creates a catch-22 situation within the body because internal stress will be registered on the water component of the body as further dehydration.
When you consider that a fully functioning brain is 80 percent water, it is easy to see that the brain is one of the first places to register dehydration. It has been found that in some cases of very deep depression, the brain can be dehydrated to as much as 40 percent of its normal capacity. This creates a person who is very cut off from their full potential and the full experience of universal wisdom.
In the five-element theory of Chinese medicine, it is understood that fear and stress are held within the element of water. This element controls and sustains the kidneys, brain, and central nervous system. This perspective is not so different from the Western perspective, because we know that the kidneys control fluid levels in the body and that the brain has the highest proportion of water of any organ in the body.
Traditional Chinese doctors know that all thoughts are vibrations and that if the resonance of any kind of stress, whether it’s a job you do not like or an unresolved emotion, is held within the body for two years, then there is always a manifestation within the water component as dehydration. This means that if there is anything in your life that you are unhappy about, it will, if left unresolved for two years, create a contraction of your ability to be in tune with the universe.
Dr Masaru Emoto’s Experiments with Water
Some amazing experiments have been undertaken recently that have vividly illustrated water’s ability to hold messages. Perhaps the most spectacular were those carried out by Masaru Emoto. Emoto, a Japanese scientist, became interested in finding a simple way to test the purity and energetic vitality of water. It had long been known that certain natural waters had healing properties, but science had never been able to substantiate this. After seeing pictures of snowflakes, Emoto wondered if water could be frozen in such a way as to reveal its crystalline structure. After many months he perfected a process that froze distilled water into a crystalline form. He photographed this frozen water to reveal the beauty of the crystal structures.
Next, he wondered if the nature of water could be changed by subjecting it to different vibrations. To test his theory, he took two glass bottles of distilled water from the same source and subjected them to two different messages. On separate pieces of paper, he wrote, in Japanese, the words “love” and “hate” and he taped one word to each bottle so that the letters were facing inwards. He then left these bottles overnight and the next day froze and photographed the water.
The water from the bottle labeled with “love” produced crystals of extraordinary beauty. However, the water from the bottle labeled with “hate” produced deformed and chaotic crystals. From this he began to understand that water had the ability to hold vibrations and went on to conduct many hundreds of experiments subjecting distilled water to different words, music, and other vibrational influences. On each occasion he found that vibrations that felt good produced beautiful crystals and vibrations that felt uncomfortable produced distorted crystals.
Having proven his theory that water was influenced by different vibrations, he wondered if the water component of food might be equally influenced. He chose a simple food with a high-water content, namely cooked short-grain brown rice (which, interestingly, is 70 percent water, the same as the human body). In Chinese medicine, short-grain brown rice is known as “the food of the colon,” which is the organ that holds the message of whether we are dehydrated or not.
Emoto decided to take cooked brown rice and divide it into three glass jars. The first one he left aside as the control. The second one he hurled abuse and negative thoughts at whenever he could. The third one he loved, nurtured, and sent extremely positive thoughts to. He did this every day for a period of ten days.
When he then looked at the short-grain brown rice in the jars, he found something very interesting. The rice in the control jar had naturally fermented to a degree where you would not want to eat it. The abused rice was dry, dark, and hard and in no way edible. The rice that had been nurtured had fermented but was still sweet enough to eat. We can see clearly how the water held within the rice was receiving the messages and vibrations and recording them. It is not only what you eat that affects your health, but the thoughts and feelings you hold while you are preparing and eating that food.
